Boost Mobile is launching a new limited time plan today that's targeted at consumers who don't use much data.
The new Boost Mobile plan offers unlimited talk and text plus 2GB of high-speed data for $10 per month. Customers who want just a little more data can get 4GB of high-speed data every month for an additional $5.
Typically these plans from Boost Mobile would include 1GB for $10 and 2GB for $15 per month, so these new plans are getting you double the data that they previously offered. After three months, though, the plans will return to their regular 1GB/$10 and 2GB/$15 allotments.
While 2GB and 4GB data allotments may not sound like much data, Boost cites a report that says that 26% of people 18-64 years old use less than 5GB of data per month. Many people can get by with a small amount of mobile data because they're around Wi-Fi for most of their day, and for those people and others who just don't use much data at all, these Boost plans could be worth considering.
Boost Mobile says that these offers will be available in-store and online through December 31, 2020.
