T-Mobile's got a big announcement coming next week.
T-Mo today teased some Un-carrier news for October 27, with the event stream starting at 8:30 am PT / 11:30 am ET. Before then, though, T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert posted a teaser video for the announcement, and it looks like it might be hinting at news regarding T-Mo's TVision home TV service.
In the teaser, we can see actress Rashida Jones on the phone with customer support asking about the fees on her bill. Then we see T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert sitting in front of a TV displaying the words "It's On", and the letter "O" has a play button similar to the TVision logo. "You know what? It's time," Siever then says.
It’s time to do something about this…

TVision is a TV service that launched last year following T-Mobile's acquisition of Layer3 TV. It uses your home broadband connection to offer more than 154 channels, a DVR, access to streaming services, and support for connecting your smart home devices, all for $90 per month. However, it's only been available in a 8 markets since its launch, including Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Longmont, CO.
Earlier this year we saw leaked photos of a new T-Mobile TVision remote, complete with Google Assistant button, suggesting that T-Mo has a new Android TV-powered TVision device in the works. We've also heard rumblings that T-Mobile has been working on a refresh of TVision, and today's teaser video seems to suggest that that new version of TVision is coming next Tuesday.
