Quibi started life as a video streaming service that would only work on your smartphone, but this week it expanded to a much bigger screen.
The Quibi app is now available on Apple TV, Android TV, and Fire TV. It looks like about what you'd expect for a streaming video app on your TV, letting you browse shows as well as search fuction. You can also view trailers and follow a show that you're interested in.
If you haven't already signed up for Quibi, you will need to download the app for Android or iOS to set up your account for the first time. Once you've got an account, you can install one of Quibi's TV apps using these links:
Quibi offers quick bite episodes of shows and movies that are all 10 minutes or less. It was originally meant to be a smartphone-only service that had quick shows you could watch while waiting for your bus or something like that, but because of the pandemic, many people have been stuck at home where most would probably prefer to watch shows on their TV.
Support for both AirPlay and Chromecast were added to Quibi earlier this year so that you could beam shows from your phone to your TV, but it's still good to see proper TV apps so that people watching Quibi can just do everything on their TV.
