Yesterday OnePlus unveiled two new products, the OnePlus 8T and OnePlus Buds Z, and it appears to have teased another new device.
The OnePlus Watch has been hinted at by OnePlus. The company shared a tweet that says "More things are coming to the OnePlus ecosystem. It's just a matter of time" along with sketches that show a watch device. Those sketches were first posted by Carl Pei, OnePlus co-founder who recently left the company, back in 2016.
This smartwatch was also teased by OnePlus during its 8T launch event. During the stream, we were told that OnePlus has been "looking to build out our product ecosystem to offer a more seamless and interconnected OnePlus experience."
Those smartwatch sketches were referenced as something that OnePlus ultimately shelved to focus more on its flagship phones. However, OnePlus said that "plans can change" and that the OnePlus has "a thing or two up our sleeves".
We recently heard a rumor that OnePlus is working on a smartwatch with a circular face. Little else is known about the OnePlus Watch right now, but considering the teases that we got from OnePlus this week, we could hear more about the company's first smartwatch soon.
