The Samsung leaks are continuing to flow this afternoon with some new info on the Galaxy Z Flip 5G.
The specs for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G leaked out today, and according to Max Weinbach, the specs for the 5G foldable are going to be pretty similar to the 4G model. In fact, the only notable change with the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is that it's getting a Snapdragon 865 Plus processor.
That's up from the Snapdragon 855 Plus processor that's in the 4G Galaxy Z Flip that launched earlier this year.
Weinbach adds that the Galaxy Z Flip 5G will be 0.5mm thicker and 0.1mm taller than the 4G Z Flip.
The rest of the specs of the Galaxy Z Flip, which could end up being the Z Flip 5G's specs, too, include a 6.7-inch 2636x1080 Dynamic AMOLED main display and 1.05-inch 300x112 Super AMOLED secondary display. There's a dual 12MP rear camera setup and a 10MP selfie cam, too, plus 8GB of RAM, 256GB of built-in storage, and a 3300mAh battery.
In other Galaxy Z Flip 5G news, the design of the upcoming device has been leaked by Evan Blass. You can see images of it above, and below is a promo video that also shows off the device. It's got a bronze color option similar to the one that that leaked Galaxy Note 20 Ultra had, but other than that, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G looks pretty much the same as the 4G model.
Perhaps the one thing we still don't know about the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is its price. The 4G model currently sells for $1380, and with the addition of 5G and a Snapdragon 865 Plus, this new model could end up being a bit pricier.
What do you think of this device? Does the addition of 5G have you interested in Samsung's flip phone?
