We still don't know when Google is going to officially announce the Pixel 4a, but today the company accidentally showed off its upcoming device on the Google Store.
An official render of the Pixel 4a was posted to the Google Store in Canada today. The carousel page says "Nest Wifi" and "Wi-Fi the way it should be.", suggesting that the Nest Wifi router should be shown. But instead we see a device that definitely looks like the Pixel 4a.
The phone has a hole-punch selfie camera in the upper left corner of its display. Around back we a square camera bump with a single rear camera and a fingerprint reader. And then on the side of the phone is a mint green power button.
The Google Pixel 4a has been pretty heavily leaked at this point, appearing in hands-on videos and having its retail packaging shown off before it's actually announced. Rumors say the Pixel 4a's specs will include a 5.81-inch 2340x1080 display, 12.2MP rear camera, Snapdragon 730 processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 3080mAh battery. Last we heard, pricing could be around $349.
The one detail we still don't know is when Google will officially introduce the Pixel 4a. The phone's announcement has reportedly been pushed back multiple times, and while Google could announce the Pixel 4a at an event in October alongside the Pixel 5, the fact that an official render of the Pixel 4a showed up on Google's store suggests that Google could be ready to launch it soon.
