Right now on Twitter there are a handful of different ways you can respond to a tweet, including replying, retweeting, and giving it a like. Soon Twitter may be adding another.
Twitter appears to be working on a tweet reactions feature. A screenshot shared by researcher Jane Manchun Wong shows an option to react to a tweet with 6 different emoji options, including a smiley face, a laughing face, and a 100.

These tweet reactions appear alongside options to retweet, retweet with comment, and react with a fleet, which is a feature that lets you share a tweet that'll disappear after 24 hours. Fleets are currently being tested by Twitter in a small number of countries.
Twitter hasn't made any official announcements about this feature, so it's unclear how widely it's being tested. The company did start rolling out the ability to control who can reply to your tweets, so these emoji reactions could offer a way for Twitter users to show their feelings about a tweet when they're not actually able to reply to it.
