On the same day that Google began pushing the June 2020 security update to its Pixel phones, Samsung is doing the same for some of its unlocked Galaxy models.
Samsung today released the June 2020 Android security patches for the unlocked Galaxy S20, Galaxy S10, and Note 10 phones in the US. Several folks on Reddit have chimed in to say that they got their update today, so if you've got an unlocked Galaxy S20, S10, or Note 10 device, you may want to jump into your Settings app and check for an update.
So far there's no word on what other changes, if any, might be packed into these updates.
It's good to see Samsung not only keeping its recent flagship smartphones up-to-date, but pushing out a new monthly security update on the first day of the month. Hopefully Samsung can keep it up with these speedy updates for its these S20, S10, and Note 10 models.
