Microsoft showed off some Xbox Series X games earlier this month, and soon it may be Sony's turn to do the same for the PlayStation 5.
Sony is reportedly planning to show PS5 games during an online event that could happen as soon as June 3. That's according to a report from Bloomberg that cautions that Sony's plans aren't concrete just yet, so the timing of the event could still change.
While it's expected that we'll get some details on PlayStation 5 games at this upcoming event, Sony isn't likely to spill every single detail of its next console there. Instead, it's said that more PS5 events could follow in the weeks and months after this event.
Sony revealed the new DualSense controller for the PS5 last month, but it hasn't yet shown the actual design for the console yet. It doesn't sound like that'll happen at this upcoming event, but it could be the first time that we get a meaningful look at some of the games coming to the PlayStation 5, so next week's event is still worth looking forward to.
The PlayStation 5 is expected to launch in the holiday 2020 timeframe.
