We've been expecting the Pixel 4a to launch later this month, but now a new leak says we may have to wait a bit longer before we get our hands on the newest member of Team Pixel.
The Google Pixel 4a is now rumored to launch on June 5. Internal documents from Vodafone Germany that've been leaked by Caschys Blog (via Android Police) show that the carrier now expects the Pixel 4a to launch on June 5, two weeks later than the previously rumored May 22 release.
As for why this delay might've happened, it could be related to that Android 11 Beta Launch Show that Google recently announced. That event is happening on June 3, and so Google might've decided to announce the Pixel 4a at the same time because there will already be lots of people focusing on that show.
Also of note is that in its tease for the Android 11 Beta Launch Show, Google teased that its got announcements on things like connectivity, security, accessibility, and "a whole bunch of stuff we're not ready to tell you about yet."
With leaks that include photos of retail boxes and a full camera review, it definitely feels like the Pixel 4a is coming soon. Stay tuned and we'll be sure to let you know whenever the launch does finally happen.
