Boost Mobile is the latest carrier to offer a $15 rate plan to help people stay connected.
Starting today, Boost Mobile is offering a $15 plan that includes unlimited talk, text, and 2GB of high-speed data with mobile hotspot support. That $15 price includes taxes and fees.
With this $15 plan, data access will end after you use the 2GB allotment. Also of note is that the $15 price is good for 60 days. The price of the plan will increase to $30 after that time. And finally, Boost Mobile says that it'll offer this $15 plan through May 12th.
Anyone interested in signing up for Boost's $15 plan can do so at a Boost Mobile store.
We've seen several carriers roll out $15 rate plans in recent weeks, including T-Mobile, AT&T Prepaid, and Cricket Wireless, and it's nice to see Boost Mobile rolling out its own $15 plan. Some people may not be able to pay their normal monthly cellphone bill during the coronavirus pandemic, and so this $15 plan aims to help keep them connected at a low price.
