It's expected that OnePlus will announce a new flagship smartphone soon, but before it does, it's rolling out a contest that'll let some lucky folks try the thing before it's launched to the public.
OnePlus says that "the new flagship is on the way" and so it's bringing back The Lab, a contest that'll let 10 people try out the new phone early. These people will get the phone before OnePlus's launch event and write up a review that'll go live after the announcement. The final winners then get to keep the device.
If you're interested in trying to win, you'll need to fill out an application that includes your personal info, your preferred creation format, and a "little test to show your competence." The community will review applications and 10 winners will be selected, with 6 spots being reserved for OnePlus forum users. You'll need to have created a OnePlus forum account before today to be considered for one of those spots.
Applications are being accepted until April 1st and the 10 reviewers will be announced on April 2nd.
OnePlus says that it'll be selecting reviewers based on their writing, photography, and videography skills as well as their creativity. And instead of writing a review, you'll need to answer questions asked by other people during an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session after using the device for 21 days.
