The Galaxy S20 series come with lots of camera improvements over previous Samsung flagships, and now some of those features are coming to the Galaxy S10 and Note 10.
Samsung will begin pushing an update to the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 later this month that brings features found on the S20 series to last year's models. The camera is one area where the S10 and Note 10 will be improved thanks to new features like Single Take, which uses AI to capture several photos and videos at once and then recommend th best shot.
An improved Night Mode is coming to Galaxy S10 phones, too, and Night Hyperlapse will be added to both the S10 and Note 10.
Custom Filter is another feature included in this update. It lets you create your own filter with colors and styles that you like from a favorite photo serving as the inspiration. And then there's Pro Video, which gives you control over settings like ISO, shutter speed, and exposure levels for recording video and also lets you switch between the front and rear cams while recording.
Samsung is updating its Gallery app on the S10 and Note 10 phones as well. Clean View will automatically group together similar photos of the same subject to help organize your gallery. Also coming is Quick Crop, which will let you zoom in on a photo while you're viewing it and then quickly crop it.
The final two new features are focused on sharing. Quick Share will let you see which of your contacts are nearby and quickly share photos, videos, and large files with multiple people, while Music Share will extend your paired Bluetooth connection.
Samsung says that it'll begin updating the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 phones with these new features in March. Update release timing will vary by market, carrier, and model, though, so stay tuned and we'll let you know when we see them hitting.
