The Files app in iOS is a handy way to store and access your various documents on an iPhone or iPad. This week Google made it easy to attach those documents to a new email.
Gmail for iOS now lets you add attachments from the Files app. To access it, just begin composing a new email, click the attachment icon, and scroll to the "Attachments" section. Then select the folder icon to choose your attachment from the Files app.
This feature began going out to users on February 12th, but Google says that this is an extended rollout that could take longer than 15 days. So if you're using Gmail on iOS, don't fret if this Files attachment feature isn't appearing for you right now.
