Right on schedule, pre-orders for the Motorola Razr foldable have begun.
Verizon is now taking pre-orders for the new Motorola Razr from its online store. Pricing is set at $62.49 per month for 24 months or $1,499.99 if you'd prefer to pay full retail.
If you'd like to save some cash on a new Razr, Verizon is offering up to $500 off the foldable when you switch carriers, sign up for a Verizon Unlimited plan and trade in a qualifying device. You can also score a $200 prepaid Mastercard when you switch to Verizon.
The new Razr was originally slated to be available for pre-order starting December 26th, but Motorola delayed it slightly due to high demand. Despite that delay, though, delivery dates for the foldable phone are already slipping to mid-February. The Motorola Razr will launch on February 6th.
Motorola's new Razr has a design similar to the classic flip phone that began a love of mobile technology for a lot of people. Things change when you open this new Razr up, because rather than be greeted by a 2.2-inch LCD screen, you'll see a 6.2-inch foldable OLED display.
Foldable phones are still early and pricier than a traditional smartphone, but this new Razr's well-known design could be giving pre-orders a boost. Are you thinking about pre-ordering the new Motorola Razr?
