We've gotten a lot of Galaxy S20 leaks lately that've given us spec details and even images of the phones themselves, but there are two important details that'vefran eluded us so far: pricing and launch timing. Today some of that info may have leaked out as well.
First up, some pricing info. According to Max Weinbach, who has been the source of some big S20 leaks already, the Galaxy S20 5G will be priced €900-1000. The Galaxy S20+ 5G will reportedly start at around €1050-1100, while the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G will be €1300.
Keep in mind that those prices apply to the 5G versions of the Galaxy S20 series phones. It's estimated that the 4G models will cost around €100 less.
To compare, regular pricing for the Galaxy S10 series starts at €749 for the Galaxy S10e and goes up to €899 for the Galaxy S10 and €999 for the Galaxy S10+. The Galaxy S10 5G's normal price is €1199.
U.S. pricing hasn't leaked yet, but Weinbach suggests that it could start at $850 for the Galaxy S20 and go up to $950 for the Galaxy S20+ and $1200 for the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
According to this leaked info, the Galaxy S20 and S20+ will have similar pricing to their predecessors, but the Galaxy S20 Ultra could see a price increase compared to the Galaxy S10+, which was last year's top-end model. Rumors say that the S20 Ultra could feature some pretty high-end specs, though, including a 108MP main camera, 48MP telephoto cam, and 6.9-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, so a higher price could very well happen.
Meanwhile, a report from Frandroid suggests that Samsung will release the Galaxy S20 series phones on March 13th. That'd be one month after their announcement on February 11th. With its past couple of Galaxy S launches, Samsung has only had a two-week gap between announcement and launch, and so this rumored Galaxy S20 launch date would mean a much longer wait between announcement and release.
