After making its international debut last month, the Nokia 2.3 is ready to come stateside.
The Nokia 2.3 is available for pre-order from Best Buy today at a price of $129 and units will begin shipping next week. Color options include Sand and Charcoal.
If you'd prefer to check out the Nokia 2.3 in person before making it your next daily driver, you'll see it on the shelves of select Best Buy stores very soon.
Pre-orders will also be available from Amazon starting next week.
As a refresher, the Nokia 2.3 is the newest affordable Android phone. It's got a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a 5MP selfie cam that lives in a waterdrop notch. There are two cameras on the back of the phone, one being a 13MP cam with an f/2.2 aperture and the other being a 2MP depth-sensing camera to help you gather those portrait mode shots with bokeh.
Underneath the grippy 3D nano-textured cover of the Nokia 2.3 lives a MediaTek Helio A22 processor with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, and a microSD card slot. A 4000mAh battery is powering the whole package, and maker HMD Global touts that that battery can last up to two days on single charge using the Adaptive Battery feature that learns how you use your phone.
Rounding out the hardware features is face unlock support and a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is something many flagship smartphones nowadays lack.
On the software side, the Nokia 2.3 runs Android 9 Pie but is guaranteed to get an update to Android 10. The device is actually guaranteed to get monthly security updates for three years and OS updates for two years, so it'll get the next major Android OS update, too.
With its big screen, dual rear cameras, and headphone jack, the Nokia 2.3 is a pretty compelling option for anyone in the market for an affordable Android smartphone. And thanks to its guaranteed updates, you can buy with confidence knowing that your phone won't immediately fall months behind in security updates like some other phones in this price range.
