One of the benefits of a Stadia Pro subscription is that you get access to free games, with new titles being added regularly. Today Google revealed that two more games will become available to Stadia Pro players next month.
Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration and Thumper will both be available to Stadia Pro subscribers on January 1st. Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is an adventure game starring well-known game character Lara Croft, while Thumper is a rhythm game that has you battling enemies while keeping to the beat.
These are the fifth and sixth games to be available through Stadia Pro, joining Destiny 2: The Collection, Farming Simulator 19 Platinum Edition, Samurai Shodown, and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. One thing to note is that Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition will be leaving the Stadia Pro lineup of free titles at 9:00 am PT on December 31st. So if you're a Stadia Pro subscriber, you'll want to claim the game before that time so that it'll remain available in your library as long as you're a part of Stadia Pro.
Stadia Pro is priced at $9.99 per month, but buyers of the Stadia Founders Edition and Stadia Premiere Edition get three months of Stadia Pro included with their bundle. In addition to the free games, Stadia Pro players get up to 4K video resolution (compared to 1080p for free Stadia Base players), 5.1 surround sound on TVs, and discounts on select game purchases.
