After treating customers to some new features yesterday, Google Fi today announced that it's got another gift for its subscribers.
Google Fi is giving out a free Nest Mini to customers. The offer is available to all active Fi group account owners and individual account owners with service as of December 9th, 2019 at 12:00 am PT. This offer is only available to account owners and will be open through December 31st, 2019 or while supplies last.
To claim your free Nest Mini, just find the "Redeem gift" link in your account. If you're having trouble finding it, just check the Support tab in your Fi account. Follow that link to choose your Nest Mini color and your discount will be applied at checkout. This offer includes shipping.
One thing to note is that Google is handing out the new Nest Mini that it launched a couple of months ago, not the Google Home Mini that's a couple years old. The Nest Mini includes a wall mount so that you can easily hang it if you'd like as well as improved sound and a third microphone so that the speaker can more easily hear you in noisy environments.
Normally priced at $49, this is a nice little gift for Google Fi customers. With it, you can dip your toe into the smart speaker water without having to actually plunk down for a new device, or you can augment your existing smart speaker lineup with a speaker in another room.
