After last week's discovery that the Galaxy S11+ will likely have a 5000mAh battery, we've now got some news on the battery size of the regular Galaxy S11.
Samsung could pack a 4500mAh battery into its Galaxy S11. A listing for a battery likely belonging to the Galaxy S11 has been found in the Safety Korea database (via SamMobile) with a model number of EB-BG985ABY. The blurry photo shows a typical capacity of 17.37Wh, and so when you consider that with Samsung's 3.86V, you get a 4500mAh battery pack.
While still unofficial, a 4500mAh battery could make sense for the Galaxy S11. That would slot it directly in-between the Galaxy S11e and Galaxy S11+, which are rumored to be coming with 4000mAh and 5000mAh batteries, respectively.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 has a 3400mAh battery, so having a 4500mAh battery inside the Galaxy S11 would be a huge upgrade. Rumors have suggested that the Galaxy S11 could also be getting big upgrades for its camera and screen, including up to five rear cams with a 108MP main snapper and a 6.7-inch display, so packing in a much larger battery would help to power all those upgraded features.
Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S11 series in mid to late February.
