Google is starting the week with a couple improvements to Maps.
First up, Google Maps for iOS is getting Incognito Mode. This feature first appeared on Android back in October and allows you to search for and navigate to places without them being saved to your Google account. You won't see personalized features like restaurant recommendations based on spots you've been to before, either, nor will places be saved to your Timeline.
Just tap your profile photo in the upper right corner of your screen and then select "Turn on Incognito mode" to activate this new feature.
Google Maps is adding a bulk delete Timeline feature for Android users. This will let you find and delete multiple places from your Timeline and Location History at once.
Incognito Mode for iOS is available starting today, but Android users will have to wait until next month to get bulk delete for Timeline.
