After launching 5G service in several NFL stadiums last month, Verizon is now treating fans of other sports to its 5G coverage.
Verizon is expanding its 5G coverage to select major sports arenas for the start of the NBA and NHL seasons. Here are the new arenas where Verizon customers can find 5G service:
The carrier also promises that 5G will launch "soon" at Madison Square Garden in New York City, NY. Verizon plans to launch 5G coverage in 10 arenas during the 2019-2020 season.
In order to access this service, you'll need a 5G-capable smartphone. Verizon currently sells three smartphones with 5G built-in: the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G, Galaxy S10 5G, and LG V50 ThinQ 5G. Also available is the Moto Z4, which doesn't have 5G built-in but can gain 5G support when you add the 5G Moto Mod.
