With two days to go before the OnePlus 7T official reveal, another important part of the new smartphone has been confirmed.
The OnePlus 7T series will run Android 10 out of the box. That means that the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro will have Google's latest version of Android, which includes a system-wide Dark Theme, improved gesture navigation, better location and privacy controls, and more.
OnePlus recently pushed out Android 10 updates to the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, so it's good to hear that the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro will be running it out of the box. There still aren't a ton of phones running Android 10, so getting it right away with the 7T and 7T Pro could be a selling point for some people.
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau also appears to have teased some new packaging for the OnePlus 7T. The box itself is bright red, and it's got the following phrase printed on its front: "This is the OnePlus 7T. It's the culmination of all our design an engineering efforts, and crafted for those, who like us, always strive for the very best."
