After getting an early look at the OnePlus 7T last weekend, we now get to peek at the Pro model.
Renders of the OnePlus 7T Pro and OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition have popped up today. The CAD-based drawings come to us from OnLeaks and 91mobiles, and while there aren't expected to be any design changes made to the OnePlus 7T Pro compared to the OnePlus 7 Pro, today's report does say that the OP7T Pro will get a new Haze Blue color option.
The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition has a carbon fiber pattern and orange accents on its backside, much like the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition that launched last year. There's a McLaren logo on the phones backside as well.
Spec details for the OnePlus 7T Pro and the McLaren Edition aren't yet known. Considering that they've got the same design as the OnePlus 7 Pro, we could see that same 6.67-inch AMOLED display on these new models. There's a triple rear camera setup and a pop-up selfie cam on the OP7T Pro, just like the OP7 Pro, and we can see a USB-C port on the bottom of the device.
Last year's OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition got more RAM and faster Warp Charge charging compared to the standard OnePlus 6T, so it's possible that the OnePlus 7T McLaren Edition will get similar improvements.
Rumors have said that OnePlus could announce the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro at an event in India on September 26, so we could be less than one month away from meeting these devices in person. Are there any specific improvements you'd like to see OnePlus make to the OnePlus 7T Pro?
UPDATE: According to leaker Max J. on Twitter, the OnePlus 7T Pro could include a 6.67-inch display with 90Hz refresh rate, a 4085mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T fast charging, a Snapdragon 855+, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, 48MP+16MP ultra wide+8MP telephoto cameras, improved camera software, and Android 10.
Meanwhile, the McLaren Edition of the phone will reportedly get bumped up to a whopping 12GB of RAM.
