After launching the Nokia 2 V on Verizon's prepaid service earlier this year, HMD Global is now one-upping itself with another device on Verizon.
The Nokia 3 V will launch at Verizon on August 23 as the first HMD Global device on Verizon's postpaid service. Pricing for the Nokia 3 V will be set at $7 per month for 24 months or $168 full retail.
Specs for the Nokia 3 V include a 6.26-inch 1520x720 display, quad-core Snapdragon 429 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of built-in storage, as well as a microSD slot that'll let you add up to 128GB of additional storage. HMD is also touting that the Nokia 3 V's 4000mAh battery will get you two-day battery life, aided by Android 9 Pie's Adaptive Battery feature that'll manage background tasks and learn how you use your apps to corral apps you don't use often and limit their battery consumption.
A dedicated Google Assistant button will give you one-push access to the voice assistant so you can ask it a question, or you can double-press to see an overview of your day. The power button is also notable because, in addition to powering your phone on and off, it functions as a notification light to let you know when you've got alerts coming in.
There's a 13MP rear camera on the Nokia 3 V with an f/2.2 aperture and a flash, and around front is a 5MP camera with face unlock living inside a waterdrop notch.
Finally, HMD Global promises that the Nokia 3 V will be supported by a year and a half of monthly security updates and two guaranteed OS upgrades, so you don't have to worry about your phone's software immediately becoming outdated after launch.
