Today's a big day for betas, because in addition to Android Q Beta 6, we're getting a new iOS 13 beta.
Apple today released iOS 13 beta 6 to developers. The update is going out over the air, but you can also grab it from Apple's Developer Center on the web.
The update to iOS 13 brings with it lots of new features. Those include a system-wide Dark Mode, a swiping interface for the Apple keyboard, an improved Photos editing interface, and updated versions of Apple Maps and CarPlay. Apple is also including an improved volume UI that won't block the center of your screen when you adjust the volume.
iPadOS is bringing even more new features for iPad users, like an improved home screen that'll let you fit more app icons and the ability to always view your Today View widgets. There are multitasking improvements for Slide Over and Split View, too, and lower latency for Apple Pencil. Apple is also making accessory support better in iPadOS by adding support for USB drives, external hard drives, and SD cards, and you'll be able to use a mouse on your iPad, too.
Also released today is watchOS 6 beta 6. This update includes an App Store on the Apple Watch, letting you download new apps without using your iPhone, as well as new Audiobooks, Voice Memos, and Calculator apps from Apple. New watch faces are in there as well.
iOS 13 and watchOS 6 are slated to launch this fall.
