Apple continues to test iOS 13 ahead of its fall release to the public.
iOS 13 beta 5 was released to registered developers today. The update is rolling out over the air, but you can also download it from Apple's Developer Center on the web.
The update to iOS 13 is a big one. It brings new features like a system-wide dark mode, swiping support for the iOS keyboard, new Animoji characters, updated versions of Apple Maps and CarPlay, and a better share sheet. Apple is also improving its photo editing interface in iOS 13, and it's adding a Sign In with Apple for third-party apps to boost security.
iPadOS is adding even more features for iPad users, like an updated home screen that'll fit more app icons and let you see your Today View widgets. Apple is adding support for USB drives and SD cards to the Files app, too, and iPadOS will even let you use a mouse with your iPad.
iOS 13 and iPadOS will launch to everyone this fall. You can find all of the devices that'll get these updates right here.
