One of the highlight features of the LG V50 ThinQ is its Dual Screen attachment that lets you add a case with a second screen, giving you the ability to run to separate apps at once or turn the second display into a controller for gaming. Now it looks like LG is returning to the dual screen concept with another device.
LG has posted a video teaser for its IFA 2019 announcement. The teaser shows a device with a video game being played, and the player grabs game controller and camera power-ups. The device then gains a second screen showing a mapping app running alongside the game.
The video ends with the dual screen device closing and another display being shown on the outside of the device. This outside screen shows the date of LG's IFA 2019 event: Friday, Sept. 6.
There aren't many details available for the device shown in LG's teaser, but it's possible that the company is cooking up an LG V60 ThinQ. LG normally showed off its new V-series phones in the fall and its G-series phones in the spring, but it broke that tradition this year by announcing the LG V50 ThinQ this past spring. It's possible that LG is working on a V60 ThinQ with a similar design and a Dual Screen attachment like the V50, but with improved features.
