August doesn't officially arrive until tomorrow, but that isn't stopping OnePlus from updating the OnePlus 7 Pro with the August 2019 Android security patches.
OnePlus today announced OxygenOS 9.5.11 for the OnePlus 7 Pro, which brings with it several improvements and bug fixes. Included are the August 2019 Android security patches, which are hitting the OP7 Pro before Google's Pixel phones, as well as optimizations for Adaptive Brightness and the touchscreen sensitivity while gaming.
Here's OnePlus's official changelog for this update:

OnePlus software updates are staged, so only a small number of OnePlus 7 Pro owners will get this OxygenOS 9.5.11 update today. Once OnePlus can confirm that the rollout is going smoothly, it'll push OxygenOS 9.5.11 to more OP7 Pro owners in the coming days.
It's good to see OnePlus continue to update the OnePlus 7 Pro on a regular basis, squashing bugs and improving features while also releasing updated security patches to keep users' phone and its data safe.
