Today Samsung officially introduced the Galaxy Tab S6, the first of three new products we expect to see from Samsung in the coming week. We've got a few days to wait for the introduction of the next device, the Galaxy Watch Active 2, but the rumor mill is giving us a preview of it before then.
Official images of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 have surfaced, giving us a clear look at the upcoming smartwatch from several different angles. The renders shared by Android Headlines show silver and rose gold color options and a few different strap colors.
The case of the watch has a couple of buttons on one side and what looks to be a microphone hole, and around back we can see a heart rate sensor. Rumors have suggested that you'll navigate the Galaxy Watch Active 2's interface using a touch bezel rather than the rotating bezel that Samsung has used on some of its previous smartwatches.
Other rumored features of the Galaxy Watch Active 2 include 40mm and 44mm models with 1.2-inch and 1.4-inch displays, respectively. Samsung is expected to pack an Exynos 9110 processor into the Galaxy Watch Active 2 along with at least 768MB of RAM and 4GB of storage. The smaller 40mm model will reportedly have a 247mAh battery, while the bigger 44mm watch is expected to include a 340mAh battery.
A teaser released by Samsung yesterday hinted that the Galaxy Watch Active 2 will be officially announced on August 5, two days before the Note 10. Based on what we've seen of it so far, are you interested in the Galaxy Watch Active 2?
