TCL teased earlier this year that the BlackBerry KEY2 LE would become available to Verizon business customers this year, and now it's officially arrived.
The BlackBerry KEY2 LE is now available to Verizon's enterprise and small business customers at a price of $99 with a two-year activation on $449.99 full retail. This version of the KEY2 LE is the same as the one that launched in unlocked form last year, but now it's available direct from Verizon and at a discount if you're willing to sign a two-year activation agreement.
One of the highlight features of the BlackBerry KEY2 LE is its physical keyboard, which is a feature not many other phones have. The Speed Key will let you access your 52 programmable keys without returning to the home screen, and the space bar doubles as a fingerprint reader.
The KEY2 LE's spec list also includes a 4.5-inch 1620x1080 touchscreen, dual 13MP and 5MP rear cameras, a 5MP front camera, and a 3000mAh battery. Also inside the phone is an octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of built-in storage, and a microSD slot for adding more storage. The back of the KEY2 LE features textured leather to give you a better grip, and there's a 3.5mm headphone jack so you don't have to keep a dongle around to listen to music.
On the software side, the BlackBerry KEY2 LE runs Android 8.1 Oreo with security and privacy enhancements. Those include DTEK by BlackBerry security software, a BlackBerry Privacy Shade, and a dual account feature that'll let you clone apps like Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp, and WeChat and switch between personal and professional accounts. The BlackBerry KEY2 LE is also Android Enterprise Recommended.
