One of the highlights of the OnePlus 7 Pro is its triple rear camera setup, which includes a 48MP sensor along with telephoto and wide angle snappers and makes this the first OnePlus phone with three rear cameras. Today OnePlus revealed that they're working to make those cameras better with an upcoming software update.
OnePlus is prepping a new update for the OnePlus 7 Pro that will improve the phone's HDR effect and its Nightscape mode. That's according to OxygenOS team member Jimmy Z., who added that the update will also include "tweaks based on some feedbacks from your and reviewers."
Here's Jimmy Z.'s statement regarding this impending camera update:
"The camera team have been working all the time on analyzing and fixing issues. Every system update contains code from camera of improving the camera quality. I believe some of you receive an update when you got your OnePlus 7 Pro. That’s a significant update for camera and I think you don’t want to miss it. Moreover, we are working on the next update which is going to be rolled out in a week or so. This update contains improvement on the HDR effect and Nightscape mode, and more tweaks based on some feedbacks from you and reviewers. From our test, photos look substantially better."
The update is expected to roll out in a week or so.
