The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is finally touching down in the U.S. today.
Verizon is now selling the Galaxy S10 5G. Pricing starts at $54.16 per month for 24 months ($1,299.99 full retail) for the 256GB model and goes up to $58.33 per month for 24 months ($1,399.99 full retail) for the 512GB model.
To celebrate the launch of the Galaxy S10 5G, Verizon is rolling out a couple of promos for the device. New and existing Verizon customers can trade in an eligible smartphone and get up to $450 off the Galaxy S10 5G. Some of the phones eligible for trade-in include the iPhone 7 and later, Galaxy S8 and later, Galaxy Note 8 and later, Pixel 2 and later, LG G7 and LG V40. Verizon is also offering $300 off the Galaxy S10 5G when you trade in devices like the iPhone 5s, Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 4, Google Pixel, LG V10, Moto Z, HTC 10, and RED Hydrogen One.
Customers who switch to Verizon can also score a $200 prepaid Mastercard card if they jump to Verizon, buy a Galaxy S10 5G on a device payment plan, and sign up for a Verizon Unlimited plan.
As its name implies, the Galaxy S10 5G does support Verizon's new 5G network. You'll need a Verizon Above or Beyond Unlimited plan to use 5G service, and while access to Verizon 5G normally costs $10 per month, Verizon is giving it to customers free for a limited time.
Verizon 5G is now live in parts of Chicago and Minneapolis. The carrier has said that it plans to launch mobile 5G service in 30 cities in 2019, and it recently confirmed several of those markets. Some of the cities that'll get Verizon 5G this year include Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dallas, Des Moines, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Little Rock, Memphis, Phoenix, Providence, San Diego, Salt Lake City and Washington D.C.
