The third generation of the Echo Dot offers several improvements over its predecessor, like a fabric design that looks better and fits in with the other Echo speakers. It's got improved sound that Amazon says is "richer and louder", too, and you can pair two Echo Dots together to get stereo sound.
At this sale price, the Echo Dot is a great way to dip your toes into the smart speaker market.
