Prepaid provider Cricket Wireless is rolling out some refreshed rate plans today.
Cricket's new Simply Data plans are available in three versions, depending on how much data you need. The base plan is $25 per month for 3GB, and then there's a $35 plan with 10GB of data every month. The top-end plan is $70 for 30GB of data, but you can lower that price to $65 each month if you enroll in autopay.
If you sign up for a Simply Data plan but run out of gigabytes before the month is up, you can get a Simply Data Add-on. These can get you 2GB of additional data for $5 or 5GB for $10.
To go along with its new Simply Data plans, Cricket is launching the new Cricket Turbo Hotspot. This mobile hotspot device can connect up to 15 devices at once to Cricket's 4G LTE network. Its battery is rated to last 11 hours on a single charge, and it's got a 1.77-inch color LCD screen to help you view your signal strength and battery life, check connected devices, set parental controls, and more.
The Cricket Turbo Hotspot is priced at $119.99.
If you're in the market for a new smartphone rather than a hotspot, Cricket is offering a deal that'll get you $200 off the Galaxy S10 when you switch to Cricket. Alternately, you can snag a Samsung Galaxy J2 Pure for free when you switch.
