Looks like the rumors about an Apple event happening this month were right.
Apple will host an event on March 25th at 10:00 am PT in the Steve Jobs Theater on its Cupertino, CA campus. The company sent out invitations for the event today with the tagline "It's show time" and an animation that you can see below, courtesy of TechCrunch's Matthew Panzarino.

As usual, Apple doesn't say what it's going to show at this event, but the invitation suggests that it's oft-rumored video service will be officially revealed. Rumors have suggested that Apple could announce a subscription news service, too. We also got wind of a seventh generation iPad today, which could be good for consuming video and news content and could also be announced either at the event or in a press release afterward.
The good news is that we're only two weeks out from Apple's event, so it won't be long before the company spills the beans about what it's launching. Stay tuned.
