The Huawei Watch GT launched in the U.S. last month as a smartwatch with custom software and a battery that can last for up to 30 days on a single charge. Now a new leak shows that Huawei is prepping a couple more Watch GT models.
The Huawei Watch GT Active (shown above) and Huawei Watch GT Elegant smartwatches are reportedly in the works. According to WinFuture, these models have slightly different case and bezel colors as well as different numbers on the outer ring of the case. Both watches will allegedly both have the same 1.39-inch AMOLED display as the regular Huawei Watch GT.
Huawei's regular Watch GT includes a 1.39-inch 454x454 AMOLED display, GPS, 5ATM water resistance, and TruSeen 3.0 heart rate monitoring tech that uses PPG optical, hardware design, and AI algorithms to monitor your heart rate in real time. The Watch GT runs Huawei's custom LiteOS rather than Google's Wear OS, and it's compatible with Android and iOS devices.
It's unclear when Huawei might launch the Watch GT Active or Watch GT Elegant, how much they might cost, or what differentiating features they might offer. Huawei is hosting an event on March 26th for the P30 and P30 Pro, so we might learn more about these watches there, too. Stay tuned.
