After getting what may have been our first look at the Galaxy S10+ in render form last week, we now may be getting an early peek at a prototype version of Samsung's next flagship.
A photo has leaked that claims to show the Samsung Galaxy S10+. The label on the device says "Beyond 2", which past rumors have suggested is the codename for the Galaxy S10+. In the upper right corner of the display, we can see what appears to be a dual camera setup, while the other three corners of the screen are rounded. Considering the look of the hardware, the label, and so on, it appears that the device in this photo is a prototype.
This leaked photo lines up with the renders that we saw last week that depicted the Galaxy S10+ with a dual front-facing camera setup. That device used a hole-punch design, placing the two front snappers in a pill-shaped cutout in the upper right corner of the display. There was a small chin on that phone, too, and there appears to be one on the leaked phone we're seeing today.
Today we saw Samsung announce the Galaxy A8s with a hole-punch design and single front camera, so it's definitely a possibility that Samsung could add a dual front camera setup with hole-punch design to its next flagship. This GS10+ is also rumored to have four rear cameras, and a case leak shows that Samsung's Galaxy S10 phones could retain the 3.5mm headphone jack, too. Samsung is reportedly planning to introduce its four Galaxy S10 variants at an event in February, so it may not be long before we get to meet them officially.
