Days after releasing iOS 12.1.1 to the public, Apple has begun beta testing a new version of iOS.
Apple today began rolling out iOS 12.1.2 beta 1 to registered developers. If you're a dev, you can grab this update over the air by going into Settings > General > Software Update, or by pointing your web browser to Apple's Developer Center. There's no word yet on when iOS 12.1.2 might be released to the public.
As for what's included in the update, so far we only know that there are "bug fixes and improvements". Considering that this is another x.x.1 update, we probably shouldn't expect any huge new features, but Apple could make some nice little improvements. For example, the iOS 12.1.1 update that rolled out last week made FaceTime calls better by letting you flip between the front and rear cameras with one tap.
Apple today also released watchOS 5.1.3 beta 1 for developers. If you've got an Apple Watch, you can go to the Watch app on your phone and then select General > Software Update to get it. Like iOS 12.1.3, Apple hasn't said when watchOS 5.1.3 might be released to the public.
