After we got an early peek at the Huawei Mate 20 Pro last month, it's the regular Huawei Mate 20's turn in the leak spotlight.
Renders that show the Huawei Mate 20 have found their way online, showing a smartphone with a square-shaped triple rear camera setup with flash. The triple rear cameras include Leica branding, shows the render from WinFuture.de. Also of note is that there's a fingerprint reader on the back of the Mate 20, whereas the Mate 20 Pro is expected to have an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Around front we can see one of the big differences between the Huawei Mate 20 and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The display notch on the Huawei Mate 20 is considerably smaller than the one on Mate 20 Pro, which may be because it lacks the laser sensors for facial recognition that may be included in the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.
The rumored specs for the Huawei Mate 20 include a 6.43-inch 2244x1080 display, octa-core Kirin 980 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of built-in storage. It's said that Huawei will pack a 4000mAh battery inside the Mate 20, too.
Huawei has said that it will introduce the Mate 20 at an event on October 16th, so it won't be long before we get to officially meet this device and its triple rear camera setup. Stay tuned.
