Just days after the BlackBerry KEY2 (shown above) officially launched, rumors of a new variant of the keyboard-clad device have surfaced.
BlackBerry is prepping a "Lite" version of the KEY2 codenamed "Luna". That's according to well-known leaker Evan Blass, who says that the device will be known as "KEY2 Lite" and note "KEY2 Mini" because it'll supposedly have the same form factor as the standard KEY2.
Alleged BlackBerry Luna, a.k.a. the "KEY2 Lite" (Lite and not Mini 'cuz they supposedly have the same form factor). Said/shown to come in red, blue, and copper. pic.twitter.com/fMza9pAAZC

Spec details for the KEY2 Lite aren't yet known, but it's said that the phone will be available in red, blue, and copper color options.
If this KEY2 Lite has a form factor similar to the standard KEY2, then it's possible that the device will have lower-end specs. The KEY2 is a well-specced device, packing features like 6GB of RAM and 3500mAh battery, so the KEY2 Lite could feature some lower-end features in order to hit a price that's lower than the $649.99 KEY2.
