The Google Assistant is getting better at helping you prepare for your day.
Google today announced that it's rolling out a new visual overview of your day in the Google Assistant app. This includes proactive suggestions and personalized info based on the time of day, location, and your recent interactions with the Assistant.
Some examples of the info that Assistant will show include travel times, letting you know when you should leave so that you can get to work on a meeting on time. You'll also see your agenda, reminders, restaurant and movie reservations, and stocks in this Assistant feed, as well as upcoming bills, packages that are coming your way, and suggestions of new Actions for you to try.
This proactive Assistant can also send you notifications to remind you of upcoming events, like bills, packages, and flight delays.
Google plans to add more features over time, like an overview of your notes and lists from Google Keep, Any.do, Bring!, and Todoist; a discovery section that'll help you find nearby activities; parking location reminders; and personalized music and podcast recommendations.
The new proactive Google Assistant is rolling out to Android and iOS users this week. Android users can find it by tapping on the new icon in the top right corner of their screen after they've activated Google Assistant. iOS users just need to open the Google Assistant app.
