Verizon today announced a new initiative for military families.
Beginning today, Verizon is offering a discount on all of its unlimited plans for members of the military and their families. This includes active duty military, reservists, Gold Star families, and veterans. The savings look like this:
To get this discount, customers just need to sign in to their account and choose the unlimited plan that they'd like.
Verizon is going a step futher by offering military families a $200 Mastercard prepaid card when they activate a new 4G LTE smartphone on a new line of service. This can be used for multiple lines, so a family of four that switches to Verizon can get $800 back. Verizon says that this offer will be available for a limited time.
