There may be a new lightweight version of the Instagram app available, but that doesn't mean that Instagram is neglecting is main app.
Instagram today announced a new Stories feature. Music stickers are now available in select countries in the Instagram apps for Android and iPhone. When you add a music sticker to your Story, you can add a song to give your video a soundtrack.
There are thousands of songs currently available for use with Instagram's music stickers, and Instagram says that it's adding new songs every day. When adding a sticker, you can search for a specific song or browse by mood, genre, or what's popular. You can even press the "Play" button to hear a preview of the song. And after you select your track, you can fast-forward and rewind through it to find the perfect moment for your Story.
You can also select a music sticker before capturing a video by tapping the "Music" option under the record button. This feature is now available on iPhone and is coming soon to Android.
Adding music to Stories is a great way for Instagram users to make their content even more personal. Now you can get creative and make your Stories more fun or exciting by selecting the perfect accompanying track.
