Alongside its trio of new Mi 8 phones, Xiaomi today took the wraps off of a new wearable device.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 features a 0.78-inch 128x80 OLED capacitive touchscreen that can show you incoming messages, let you see and reject incoming calls, view weather info, and morew. It can also show health data like your heart rate and step count.
In addition to tracking your heart rate and steps, the Mi Band 3 can monitor your sleep. The device is waterproof up to 50 meters, too, so you can wear it while swimming without worry.
Xiaomi says that the 110mAh battery in the Mi Band 3 can last for around 20 days on a single charge.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 is compatible with devices running Android 4.4 and up or iOS 9.0 and up. It's launching in China at a price of 169 yuan ($26 USD). While it may not be the most advanced fitness tracker out there, the Mi Band 3 looks like a nice wearable for its low price, offering activity and sleep tracking along with smartphone notifications in a small, affordable package.
