Google's got a large roster of apps, and today it added one more.
Neighbourly is a new app from Google that's currently available in beta on Android. The app is currently only open to users in Mumbai, India.
With Neighbourly, you can learn more about your neighborhood from the people that live there. The location-based app lets you post questions that other users can answer. You can use text or your voice to ask questions in English and eight Indian languages.
You can also answer questions that other people have asked. Just swipe through the questions that've been asked, which are shown in a card-style format.
Neighbourly is available to users in Mumbai with Android 4.3 or higher. There's no word on when it might expand to other parts of the world. The app looks like it could be nifty, though, letting you get local information from the people that actually live there rather than trying to sift through a web search.
