After introducing the Gear Sport and Gear IconX 2018 back in August, Samsung has now revealed when these new devices will launch and how much they’ll cost when they do.
Both the Gear Sport and Gear IconX 2018 will be available for pre-order online tomorrow, October 13th. A full U.S. launch is scheduled for October 27th.
The Gear Sport will be available for pre-order through Samsung.com and BestBuy.com and will launch at Amazon, Samsung.com, Best Buy, Macy’s, and U.S. Cellular. Meanwhile, the Gear IconX will be available for pre-order from Samsung.com and will launch at Amazon, Samsung.com, BestBuy.com, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular.
Pricing will be set at $299.99 for the Gear Sport smartwatch and $199.99 for the Gear IconX 2017 wireless earbuds.
As a refresher, the Gear Sport features a 1.2-inch 360x360 circular Super AMOLED display, dual-core processor, 4GB of storage, and 768MB of RAM. It’s powered by a 300mAh battery, runs Tizen, and includes NFC for Samsung Pay. The body uses 20mm bands and offers 5ATM water resistance.
The Gear IconX 2018 offer improved battery life over the previous Gear IconX wireless earbuds, offering 7 hours of playback in standalone mode or 5 hours in Bluetooth mode. They also include a charging case that’ll give you 1 extra charge while you’re on the go. The earbuds offer 4GB of storage, too.
