Looks like another major Android flagship is coming next month.
LG is now sending Save the Dates for an event that’ll happen at 9:00 am on August 31st. The company isn’t saying what it has in store for the event, but it is including the image you see above with its invitation.
So what might LG have planned? The LG V30 is the likeliest candidate. Not only is the timing right, but the image included with LG’s invitation includes a “V”. The event is also taking place one day before the start of IFA 2017, which is one of the biggest mobile-focused conferences of the year and a good time to announce a new flagship smartphone.
A recent leak claimed to give us a peek at what the LG V30 might look like. It’s suggested that the V30 will have a tall 2:1 display like the LG G6, and the company’s event invitation seems to support that theory. We’ll likely also see the usual smattering of 2017 Android flagship specs like a Snapdragon 835 and 4GB of RAM.
What do you want to see from the LG V30?
