T-Mobile customers, you may have a new Android flagship from Motorola in your future.
The Moto Z2 Force is coming to T-Mobile, says Evan Blass. The original Moto Z and Moto Z Force were Verizon exclusives in the US, but apparently the Moto Z2 Force won’t be an exclusive like its predecessor.

Spec details for the Moto Z2 Force are still a mystery, but if it’s anything like the original Moto Z Force, it’ll be a high-end device. The Moto Z Force offers specs like a 5.5-inch 2560x1440 AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 21-megapixel rear camera, and a fingerprint reader.
The original Moto Z Force also offered support for Moto Mods, the modular add-ons that Motorola offers for its Z-branded phones. They include a camera grip, a projector, a speaker, and more. While it’s unknown if the Moto Z2 Force will support Moto Mods, too, leaks have suggested that the Moto Z2 will, and so it seems likely that the Moto Z2 Force will as well.
Motorola did offer GSM unlocked versions of the Moto Z and Moto Z Force, but lots of folks prefer to buy their phones through their carrier. One advantage of doing so is that most carriers offer monthly payment options on smartphone purchases, like T-Mobile does with its EIP service. If the Moto Z2 Force does make its way to T-Mo, Magenta customers will easily be able to see what Moto Mods are all about and make monthly payments on the Z2 Force if they like what they see.
