T-Mobile customers, there’s one more thing that you should know about the changes that are coming to the T-Mobile One plan.
This Friday, February 17, T-Mobile One will include HD video and 10GB of high-speed mobile hotspot. The changes were recently announced so that T-Mobile One would match the new Verizon Plan Unlimited. The good news is that T-Mobile One customers won’t have to activate HD day passes to get this new feature.
T-Mobile says that One customers on the updated plan will only need to activate HD video once. After that, they can continue to stream high-def video to their device without having to worry about toggling a switch every day.
What’s more, T-Mobile says the HD streams delivered to One customers won’t be optimized. “The HD video will stream at whatever is provided by the content provider,” T-Mobile told The Verge.
This is welcome news for T-Mobile One customers. Previously, customers on T-Mobile One would have to activate HD video every day that they wanted to stream it to their device. That likely became frustrating for some customers, so it’s good that T-Mobile is changing things up and making HD video a one-time toggle with the new One plan.
